I do like the Movielife EP, but was really pulling for Audioboxer

Gotta imagine Rise got an ass ton of orders so it’s just taking longer. Regret not pulling the trigger on the TEN book

idk how many people here know a ton about my collection but i recently got what i think is the final serious grail level record of mine and it came in today and i’m absolutely stoked to own it. spinning right now.

envy on the coast - lowcountry.

not sure where to go from here. i’ve been collecting and searching for records for a decade now and i feel like i completed my collection, but there’s always something more.

 

Yeah I haven't seen any movement on mine but I figure with the influx of orders from that sale processing is slower than usual. (I also did order quite a bit from that sale).

But let me refresh the thread with this one:

 

Got my stuff from Rise today. 2 of the records are dinged in the corners, which is surprising because it was very well wrapped. But for $7 I guess I can't complain.

How do you like the Cambridge amp? Is it the AXR85 or 100? I was thinking about getting one of those when I have a little more space for my listening space. What speakers?

 

Not really sure where to post these, but I designed cassette j-cards for some old Drive Thru Records albums, if anyone is into that kinda shit. If anyone wants the full quality files to print out so you can make your own tapes, let me know and I'll DM them to you.

 

receiver: CA AXR85 (really like it but did have an issue where it made the speakers have distortion early on. Had to send it back to be fixed under warranty but I’ve had no issues since)

speakers: CA SX-60 bookshelf speakers. No issues. Sound awesome. Have iso pads underneath.

Sub: CA SX-120. Thing PUMPS. Added so much dynamic to my set up.

turntable: Audio-technica LPW40 w/ ortifon red needle. Just replaced the needle. Honestly insanely nerve wracking haha, but worth it.

I think the whole thing costs like 1500 or so. Upgraded over time but I’m sticking with this set up for a while. I had the shelves built for it.

Outsourcing this question cause my brain is collapsing on itself trying to think of more examples: What are some great scene album covers that are black and white? I’m doing a framed collage of my favorite bands on my wall and so far I have:

need one more. I refuse to put Neighborhoods haha. Also trying to keep it to one band per album, hence why I haven’t used Rented World for another Menz
