this... i need to stop, running out of space, but i am addicted...

 

before I moved and got the custom ones, I had 4 filled and no space. Now I have double the space so it’s like am I even addicted? (Yes)

 

Mines really bad. I have a 3 x 3 in the living room full and a 2 x 2 in the bedroom full. now storing records on the floor... My wife hates me, but she was the one who bought me a record player many moons ago... so her fault i suppose lol

Great mail day. So stoked to have LIYW and DP finally. Also TWL was my longest preorder! I pre ordered it back in August 2021.It looks and sounds great!

 

no pride for me, just shame! I have weird anxiety about the size of my record collection… but that has also not slowed me down in the slightest

yeah my buddy had me pull out the MLIW record. Been forever since I jammed it. Still holds up. Such an obvious influence on so many bands after them. ISIS was my pick. Side C while stoned is a VIBE

 

This was the setup at the old place before we moved a couple months ago. Spent quite a bit of time on it and was sad that it obviously had to be left behind when we sold the house



And this is what I’ve been working on at the new place. It’s actually just Kallax, then we set it on top of a Bestå and had a contractor rework our baseboard to go around it, got some thick particle board to nail into the back and side, and then picked up some crown molding from a local wood donation store. Cut out some shelves to fit speakers. We’re doing some drywall work right now so excuse the bleak photo lol. Will definitely post the end result once I paint it and get this room together in a couple weeks, I can’t wait

We close on a house next week, and I can't wait to put together the new 5x5 Kallax I've had my eye on. It's going to be so good to not have records on the bottom row again (even if it's only for probably a year or two haha).

 

Have they revealed the 5 EPs yet? Or is there 1 more?

I think I’m more excited for the full albums
