how do you guys store/display your vinyl? my turntable desk has a built in bottom portion for my records but i want something a little better than that i guess, and my collection is growing too big for it anyways.

I have something similar from Costco. But i've outfrown that so need to figure something else out

I use the Target version of these. Someday I would like to get an actual set of record bins made so I can thumb through them and friends can too.

 

I'll post an updated photo of my set up and room when I get home!

 

We use the IKEA Besta system, it's fully customizable. You can set the shelf heights perfectly for records on the bottom and movies on the top.

Anybody else feel a strange combination of pride and shame when they start a new kallax cube?

 

Is Kallax the move? I've been using EKET for storage. Don't have any complaints besides it wrinkles a little at the top of the sleeves

why the hell hasn't Dream to Make Believe been pressed on vinyl yet?!

i was excited to get WTDWYAD on vinyl, but was bummed when it had a couple DTMB demos on it because that made it feel like even more unlikely that that album will ever come out.

 

I upgraded to a 4X4 one like a year ago and I’m filling it up way too quickly for my wife’s liking haha

 

I’m like 90% through selling off the rest of my vinyl. Keeping about 5 or 6 to make a cool display on the wall for artwork (black and white album covers from my favorite bands) but that’s about it. I’ll post whatever is left here and will sell them for discounted rates to you fine folks if anyone is interested.

Impatiently waiting for my new turntable to arrive and started fucking with my current one to get it spinning at the correct speeds. Got the 33 1/3 to around 33.2, probably not going to get better than that. But, whoops I accidentally turned the 45 setting up to like 56 RPMs and I could not get it to go back down.
