Lol I also own six, but I don't think any of them are from UO

 

I own 7 of those UO records. I'm basic as hell!

 

I’m just not a fan of buying greatest hits albums. I like blowing my money on 12 albums that have one hit each.

I went when they had a big sale. Got The Places You Have Come To Fear The Most for $2 and Danger Days for $18

grabbed a copy last week at my local shop! This is actually my second fav STD album (behind TBC) and I feel like its so underrated in the STD community.

 

This version is not on Discogs. Was it just released? I didn’t realize this was two 10 inch vinyl.

 

Yea just released. I havent had a chance to crack mine open though to see color or anything. I tend to buy too many records at a time and like to invest a solid week or two into spinning each one individually before moving on to the next one. Still spinning a few others I bought that day. My pet peeve is buying a record for $35+ and only spinning like 4 times before it collects dust. Like to get my moneys worth since they are so expensive. Im guilty of once shelving an album I barely take it out.
For 2023 I think im going to focus less on new albums and spend each weekday taking an old record of the shelf for a relisten

 

I’m the weirdo in the thread who has 126 vinyl and does not have a record player…

well, until Christmas! I am finally getting one! I decided on the Audio-Technica ATLP60XBT.

I will be spending a lot of time listening through my collection. Shooting to listen to one album each week night and a handful each weekend.

 

i own 5 of these and they are all original press except 36 chambers because I’m not a poser lololol

also yeah I vouch for UO sales. Can get some sick records crazy cheap. Also one of my most expensive records is from there: SiR - Chasing Summer

 

Dang, thats nuts. I've had a project debut carbon for a decade and before that some sony player. My collection is only in the 90s now as I've sold tons of my stuff over the years. I probably would have over 200 records by now. It came to a point where a lot of my OOP stuff was worth five times what I paid so I sold it off since I barely played them. Regret a few, but the cash helped pay for a house or car or vacations.

 

Crazy how cheap these Dashboard albums are going for now. I collectively spent $120 on four albums that I could get for $35 now.
