Chiming in to say the Jersey City post office is the worst on the planet.

 

Got Terminal!

Threw in Valleyheart's album because it's one of my top albums this year!

 

The first time I saw Paramore, at a bowling alley in Vegas, Terminal opened.

 

Terminal record secured. Can’t believe it finally got a pressing man, this record informed so much of my songwriting when I was younger. Grateful to finally own it on wax, also very cool to see that it’s actually been remastered for vinyl

At what point do you guys complain about a new record you got shipped to you being damaged?

I’m a super non confrontational person, but this record is pretty special to me, so I’m probably more bummed out than I should be about it. So I’m just trying to weigh how I actually feel since I normally wouldn’t really care.

Also the package it was shipped in was pretty pristine, so I think the jacked was damaged prior to being packed.

 

Yeah that is a tough call, it usually depends on the album and how expensive/rare it is. It does seem to be happening more often but as long as it is minor I just deal with it. The worst one I had was with the Thrice Anthology boxset, one corner was completely smashed. That was a no brainer and thankfully I got a replacement right away

Damn, what’s the record?

 

I have a ton of seam-split records. I don't know if the cardboard is getting thinner or the records are getting sharper, but it's a problem.

I ordered Manchester Orchestra's The Million Masks of God and it had a huge split and scratch across the front. They sent me a new copy and that one ALSO has a huge seam split across the top.

 

So many records I get through the mail unfortunately have seam splits. I've just given up caring about it.

 

I just got my Saosin confirmation email that it's shipped! (I received it 2 weeks ago)...

 

Same. I was like, are they somehow sending another? I clicked on the tracking info and it was like, “hey dummy, we delivered this on 11/30.”

 

I got the delivered and shipped emails back to back

 

Really feels like the UO collection should have an underoath record

 

I own six of these does that make me basic

 

I just ordered two before it was posted. I’d say my 100+ collection isn’t basic then.

 

I own 6 from that list. I would love some of those older albums like Hotel California and the one everybody owns Rumors but know I could get those whenever I feel like it.

Is that bundle available still? I swear I saw it was sold out... Hope they throw in a free Crossley Cruiser for safe measure haha.

 

Absolutely sick to my stomach I missed this.
