Just picked up Tree City Sessions at a local store for $22. No download code though...

 

Finally picked up a copy of In An Aeroplane Over the Sea. Waiting on my copies of Old Ramon and Mark Kozelek Live at the Biko that were supposed to be two-day shipped

 

Oh awesome. Thank you! I was looking for record sleeves on Amazon and didn't see these.

 

So I went to my local record store to pick up the new Thrice record. I was scoping the used bin when I came across a copy of Diamond Eyes by Deftones. I bought it after I realized it was a misprint like the one I use to have (the vinyl was suppose to be white but came out an odd grey). I ended up taking it home and after some photo analysis I realized it is the same exact copy I use to own that got stolen with 2/3 of my collection last summer.

Cool story, bro.

 

Does anyone here still buy CDs? I'm selling most of mine once again to fund my wedding. $2 a pop and shipping in bundles of $10. I figured I'd list the link just in case anyone is interested:

A friend just invited me over to help him sort 300+ records that were passed down to him. I'll post anything cool that I find today! He said there's some original Michael Jackson and Prince stuff in there, hopefully he's right.

 

Just preordered the limited edition translucent Pretty Years LP with a translucent 7" of demos

I really wish Circa would repress some of the older stuff. I need a copy of BSN and OLG without paying $500 combined.

don't "expect" BSN, it was done on a major label and they likely don't care about repressing it, only way it'll happen is if circa or another label buys the rights, and then the major label has to actually think that's worth it

 

I believe after 10 years most bands get the rights back to an album so 2020 we could see it. Haha not soon enough though.

Are there rules against having a Buying/Selling type of thread on Chorus? I didn't see anything in the rules against it but I might have missed it.

 

True. I feel like I've seen most bands have a 10 year one though, so I'm trying to be hopeful here. Hahah

 

I'm a bit unclear on the rules as well. Although, I would suggest setting up a Discogs account if you don't already have one, as that would give you an avenue to safely share shipping info, securely receive and send payments and communicate with the buyer or seller. That way you can use this forum to advertise what you have for sale.

Something similar to what you're looking for can be found at Sale/Trade/Wants - Vinyl Collective Forums: A Community for Vinyl Collectors. While I have never had a bad experience there, some people have been ripped off or had information stolen.

Always better to go through services that are set up for it, ya know? Just a thought though.

 

Oh I definitely agree on the Discogs route man. I actually posted my collection a few posts up! I just thought it would be cool to be able to post things we were selling as a community instead of just blindly searching on discogs ya know? I was thinking about a thread that would just link any potential buyers to the sellers discogs account. Just a thought.
