Anyone able to snag a vinyl copy of Blindside’s Silence? The secondary market is hurting my feelings right now haha

 

A lot of the FF exclusives from last year eventually got full presses, so I'm holding out for that.

 

It appears they forgot to set a limit on how many Silence copies you could buy, and some people were literally flipping them as they bought them. Really makes you dislike some people.

 

Hi, I'm a stranger in these parts, but can anyone offer some advice on shipping an LP and a t-shirt together? For, like, 60-75 LP-and-t-shirt packages?

I have Mighty Music Mailers and would love to put both things in one of those together, but that seems... unwise?

usually when in order a record and shirt together it comes in a mailer that’s meant for like 2-3 LPs

 

I'm with you on the hurt feelings. Been watching the Discogs listing like a hawk, but to no one's surprise the prices just continue to rise. Not super optimistic about a wider pressing of this either from what I've seen.

Same. You can tell all the sellers are "new" with their ratings. But those prices are going to keep going up. I want to remain optimistic they'll have a wider release eventually, but I won't hold my breath.

I managed to score 2/3 OF the Unoriginal/Tooth & Nail exlusives (Dead Poetic and Embodyment and am hoping for reamaining copies of Life In Your Way to go up today.)

 

They said after today they were gonna take stock of what wasnt bought and put them up at a later date. I dont think they are going up today.

 

Anyone have a turntable with built in Bluetooth? what’s your take? Trying to decide if I should replace my budget turntable with one or just buy one of those appendages that plugs into a turntable & emits a signal

 

My Audio-Technica connects to my receiver via Bluetooth and I think it sounds great. It was cheaper than the non-Bluetooth ones when I bought it so I figured worst case I can just get the necessary cords if ever goes out.

 

I would say it depends on how many of the records you listen to consistently are newer releases or not. My girlfriend's dad uses a sonos speaker via BT and you do lose some warmth with the older records.

Don't think it matters for newer releases since those tend to be sourced from the digital files.

 

Anyone in here confident enough to hop on a video call and help me fix my speaker issue with my Audio-Technica sometime? lmao

Guessing it’s delayed. I recently got my Louder Now shipping info and that had a shipping date of 9/2.

 

The vibes are good tonight (I’m drunk from the state fair)

 

Mine says delayed until November 18th.
