I just got the newest Underoath and Rise Against albums both Target editions at Dirt Cheap for $5 each.

 

Hey I'm pretty new to vinyls having only bought a record player 2 years ago. But 40 albums later i feel very satisfied but I have a question?

I just received the Used Self titled brand new vinyl and it sounds really really warped. I tried a few other albums I have and they all work fine. Is the used vinyl a different format or something or did i get a warped record?

 

Is it at 45 or 33 RPM?

 

I'm not sure. It didn't specify when I ordered and im looking at my receipt and it doesn't mention anything. And im looking on the record and the sleeve itself. How do I find out?

 

Your player should have a switch to go from 33 to 45. It's pretty standard no matter the system you use. I would play the record and try the different speeds. If it sounds warped for both, then you have a damaged record

Look at the art I got in the mail today. I got a flat tire on my way home from work, that sucked ass. But I had these beauties waiting for me.

 

Just an FYI. The plural of vinyl is vinyl. Just keep an eye out for those outside of this forum that might get on you really hard about that.
