The album was actually weirdly released worldwide by Universal Music Germany, so that makes sense.

 

My favorite local record store had a fire in the apartments above it and they lost pretty much all of their inventory. I’ll be donating some stuff, and they mentioned a go fund me page coming, but this is brutal for these local owners.

 

Didn't know you were from Frederick area? I lived there a few years. And yeah, Record Exchange is awesome. Broke my heart seeing this having lost a ton of my record collection in a house fire a few years ago.

The only thing I can’t do is buy the records I really actively hate. Like I’ll buy a “like” album from a favorite band, but can’t do a hate. Makes me wish the new NFG EP was sold separately

 

When I bought CDs, if I owned one album by a band I had to own the entire discography. Since starting to collect vinyl I've been able to avoid that temptation, thankfully. For most bands I stick to the albums that really left a mark on me, though the bar is a little lower for my absolute favorite artists.

 

That’s how I started and then you’d be surprised at the decisions you make later on, usually when I have a cart pulled up and a few drinks in lol. Oh yes, I do need that Teen Idols record or Rancid Indestructible even though it’s not a favorite record. Alkaline Trio Damnesia, why not. It snowballs over time. At least for me it did.

 

Haha yeah. I can easily see myself sliding down this slope eventually. Especially now that I own most of my favorite albums (at least the ones that have vinyl pressings). What am I supposed to do, just... not buy more records??

Got this record awhile ago after randomly stumbling upon it on Youtube one day. It’s a stunner

 

Yea I tried to get the twist but it said sold out when I paid, got the white gold and bone swirl. Which is now also sold out lol

 

Ridiculously good, I can see it becoming an all-time favorite for me. Pregame, during the party, postgame...cold weather, warm weather...doesn't matter the environment the album just fucks.

Fact that I got it for $20 on Discogs and it's still going for twice that on VMP is insane. Everyone buy this!

I’m just now seeing Hot Rod Circuit - Sorry About Tomorrow was re-pressed and I missed it and it’s like $75 everywhere. Sigh. One of my all time favorites.

 

Grabbed that /150 for One Fell Swoop. Very excited to have this in a month and a bit!

L.S. Dunes has their album up for Preorder, missed all the limited variants. May just hold out on the indie variant.
