second round of walmart variants for metallica’s discography finally hit shelves. last one left is death magnetic.

 

Still bummed I missed out on the first round of albums. Tempted to order Garage Inc.

 

I was going to order that The Used vinyl...and then it came out to $57 after taxes and shipping.

 

there's has recently been new stock for the first round of albums. i come across a few every now and then. check the walmart site. kill, ride, and master are hella cheap cause it's only one lp. this round really hurt the wallet.

I really need to get Dookie on vinyl one of these days. Right now, the only Green Day record I have is International Superhits. I don’t even have FOAM!!!

 

I’m really hoping for a sick 30th anniversary repress as we’re approaching 30 years (which really hurts to type and think about)

 

Would FOAM be considered that essential to have? ;d

 

haha obviously not that essential since i don't own it, buuuuut if i had to have 3 green day albums on vinyl, it'd be international superhits, dookie, and FOAM. that album is fun as hell haha.

 

Wow, maybe I should get back to it ;D I think I've barely listened to it once in full.

 

i don't understand the absolute hate for it that the majority seem to have, but i love it haha. i think people just didn't want to give it a chance right out of the gate.

 

You know what, I didn't hate it at all, it is fun - I'm playing it now and it still holds up as something to get me pumped in the background, but in the end I'm not sure I'm gonna return to it a lot - and wouldn't consider it top GD for me. But I'm glad there are people the genuinely like it more that their old material, it's cool!

 

the 'essentials' are dookie, the insomniac (anniversary edition), nimrod, warning, AI, and the recent bbc sessions collection that was released. imma hold out for this dookie repress walmart is gonna sell, as that's the one from this above list i'm missing.

 

I haven't liked a Green Day album since Warning, but I remember enjoying FOAM when I listened to it years ago. Seeing all the hate their fanbase was giving it reaffirmed that I am just not their target audience lol
