I got the pink but haven’t had time to spin mine either.

 

I pulled the trigger on these last night because they were $139 with no tax or shipping fee. I'm excited to finally have a decent starter setup

 

If you get the itch to upgrade something, don't underestimate how much better a subwoofer can make something sound.

Anyone ordered any LPs from Amazon lately? They didn't always use higher quality mailers before, but the last two orders I placed came in bags with no mailer whatsoever.

 

I’ve probably ordered a hundred records from Amazon, never once have I had a bad experience.

Always good quality mailers, to the point that I’ve reused them a few times when I’ve sold things.

I think it all depends on your distribution center?

 

Yeah I've had the same experience.

 

My copy also has the glitching on the right channel. Seems to go away during the first song of each side - I was expecting worse when I saw that comment on Discogs but still a bummer.

Hit or miss for me. I've had several in the past year that show up floating around in a large box with no other packaging.

 

I've basically stopped ordering vinyl from Amazon. A mix of bad experiences and them being an extremely shitty company.

Ah my bad, I missed that

 

They mostly come in the mailers (sometimes also in another box), but I've had a few in the last year come just in one of the plastic bags without any padding. I returned one complaining about the way that it came, and the replacement came in exactly the same way. Ultimately just ordered it elsewhere.

 

Katie’s record collection is very meat and potatoes.

 

I order from Amazon quite often. Always opt to put in an Amazon box. Worst I’ve had is spine damage

Other than being international release is there anything special about those ?

 

I did not. It’s the usual Nexus chain label from 84.

Japanese pressings from back then are much better quality sound wise and they always came with a bunch of extra inserts and posters that US or EU presses didn’t.

 

I saw a copy of Anything Else But The Truth for ~$20 in a record store a couple years back and I passed on it. Real bummer, however it seems like red/black starburst pressing goes for fairly cheap on discogs
