Got Ariana, Linkin Park, and HAIM/TSwift.
Struck out hard on Alk3 because of the damn websites all crashing. What’s the point in online sales if your website can’t handle the traffic? This is the one time I wish websites were similar to livenation with the queue system.

edit: I’ve gotten a copy of alk3 and thrice through discogs/eBay refreshes both at retail. And zia has some stock on their site, I picked up Rage from them.

So I got to Rough Trade at 7:30am and the line was massive. Waited 4 hours on line! And it was weird, you weren't allowed to browse the shop. Someone came out and took your name and had you write down the releases you wanted. By the time I got in they were sold out of Haim/Taylor. But was able to get Linkin Park, Senses Fail and Alkaline Trio.
Then we walked 10 blocks to a mom & pop record store and there was literally no line haha. They never got Linkin Park, so I'm still glad I went to Rough Trade. Ended up picking up Oasis' Dont Believe The Truth there. Was seriously contemplating the live Rage album and Thrice but I didnt wanna go overboard.

If that Noel Gallagher didn't hit US shipping delays I probably would've grabbed that too.

 

What is the list price for Linkin Park? I'm pondering how much I'm willing to pay on Discogs.

Was able to cop a copy of Try Again by ovrkast. on his webstore today and that’s about as big of a come up as I could’ve hoped for on an RSD. Came in at number 6 on my AOTY list last year and only 200 pressings were made

 

I had to work unfortunately, but I did get to pick up The Band Camino release and an autographed copy of Taylor Swift’s Evermore…

 

Can you share what the (5) bonus tracks are on the Conor Oberst re-issue? No websites seem to list the full track listing.

I got both Brainiac RSD releases which I’m stoked to dive into. Lots of unreleased demos and a full unreleased live show recording.

I hiiiiighly recommend you check out this band and read up on them. Your mind will be blown that the sounds you’re hearing were recorded in the early 90s and not in the early 2000s. They were doing Blood Brothers kind of stuff like 10 years before they did. But Brainiac is so much more than that too.

I also picked up the 2007 reissue of Joy Division’s first album. Recently started getting into them.
