haven't heard of that band or album in a millions years. i remember really liking the songs "more vacations" and "the better way."

 

Stoked this finally got a repress.

 

Still waiting on my KT vinyl. Got a shipping notification last week, but just checked on the progress and there has been no update since March 18.

 

No waaaay. I was literally thinking of this band yesterday and how much I'd love to have some of their music on wax. Considering the label drama surrounding this album, this was the last release I expected to ever see pressed. Very excited to jump on this!

 

What was the drama?

 

The album was released to retail without the band's knowledge. There's some information on the Wikipedia page for the album, but I remember reading some more details in an interview with the band years ago. Seems like the band ended up releasing the album independently, so I guess ultimately there weren't any rights issues keeping it from being pressed!

Has there been a push to open more pressing plants in the U.S. in the past few years? Seems like there’s such huge demand/need.

 

Yea. Really can’t understand why someone with the capital hasn’t opened up some more plants.

I've actually looked into buying a lathe press for smaller releases, but those are pretty expensive too.

Understood, but the same can be said about plenty of industries. I’m curious what sets vinyl apart from those and when supply will ever catch up to demand.

 

Finally upgraded the storage, around 400 on here currently for scale.

Sorry if this has been posted already. Fall Out Boy’s Take This To Your Grave has a repress coming. Haven’t been able to get that one in my 6 years of collecting.

I bought that Coke Bottle Clear (/950) of Take This To Your Grave a long time ago when it came out and listened to it once or twice. Only realized recently it's one of the most valuable records I own.

 

Anyone else get their Underoath vinyls? I know a few people on here got them but I haven't heard a word. Just curious?
