Crosley is releasing a very teeny turntable that plays 3" records.

 

I’m aware of the gimmick just more in disbelief about it.

 

Just made an account for Discogs and look forward to scanning all my vinyl tonight. Dumb question, I assume the barcode will automatically choose the correct issue/press of the album? Or do you still have to manually choose that option. Some of mine I don't know if it's original pressing or represses and things like that.

 

It generally pulls up a couple options when I scan mine in, but not every single pressing. Usually just different color variants.

 

Can you scan CDs too? I have like, 800 cds boxed up in storage. Probably wouldn't go through the trouble, but maybe in the future.

 

Thrice is really all I feel like I need to have. Hopefully with 4000 being pressed, it won’t be that difficult to get.

 

Looks like this changes things. Imma need that Basement 7" and the Menzingers one as well! Maybe the Hockey Dad EP and the..... Culture Abuse 3".....

Must find Hockey Dad's EP. Will probably get Greta Van Fleet's From The Fires, Mumford & Sons Acoustic Session, and Spider Man Into the Spider Verse Soundtrack too.

 

Ah yes the good old days. Thats still one of my most stressful yet fulfilling buying experiences. Ended up with the last one on the shelf at Bull Moose when I got there! I think its the only time I've ever NEEDED an RSD release

 

I remember waiting outside Rough Trade in NYC from like 7:30 to 10:30 AM just to get Thrice and BALCO. I remember that summer being at Amoeba in SanFran and being so mad that I saw Slowheart in the 7" bin, just lying there.

 

Is it bad that I may buy the Transformers 3 soundtrack just for Monster by Paramore?

 

Got a few more vinyls to get through on my discogs. Did find out of OG pressing of Separation Sunday goes for about $70.

I think my most valuable is my VMP Noname- Telefone. And I assume the De La Soul- Is Dead exclusive I just snagged will also go for some $$. But I’ll never flip any of those so...shrug.

My first press of The Gaslight Anthem - Sink or Swim is probably my most valued. Been tempted to sell it lately.
