I added mine on to my custom order, I forgot how much it was but it was worth it.

 

Are you talking about the queue arm? I have that, it pauses the record, right? Tone arm lift raises the needle at the end of the side so you don't have to walk over as the record side ends.

 

Ah, yeah my bad. I didn't realize until recently that it didn't have it, it's definitely my only complaint with the turntable

I love the queue arm but yeah that's my only complaint too. It's been great otherwise

I've been saving for months for my U-Turn! Did you get the original or the plus? I am debating whether to get the pre-amp built in or buy one and attach separately. Will also be tempted to get the Audio Engine 2 speakers with it...

Full disclosure: I haven't played my Crosley in about 8 months because of the damage the needle does. Figured I wouldn't play again until I upgrade.

I went with a Custom that was essentially the same thing as their Special but in blue because I don't care for the wood finish look/it wouldn't match me decor at all. But I went with the separate pre-amp. I figured it would be the best option in case I decide to get a new pre-amp at some point down the line and can easily just switch it out. Im pretty sure you can just turn the internal one off to bypass it if you have it installed and ever decide not to use it though.

Also good call, your records will thank you for ditching the Crosley haha

 

Off topic question, but if/when you guys get records signed, do you prefer the signing be on the front or back?

 

Front, for sure

 

I usually just hand it to the band and say sign it wherever you want. Always ends up bring the front.

 

I love my U Turn. I had a hell of a time deciding which turntable to get, but I was so happy once I decided.

Now I need to get a proper table for it because it's just on my desk right now and I just have my records up against the wall and they're starting to stick out way too much.

 

Definitely the front. It'd be weird to me on the back, for no real reason.

 

My band's vinyl shipment finally came in today, and we are beyond stoked!



Vinyl pre-orders are up! Only 250 of these were made.
