The Kings Of Leon "Early" set with their first three albums + unreleased stuff. Their best work imo.

 

Was bored over the weekend so of course I went to a record store. Picked up these:

Citizen - EIGTH (Bone, /2000)
Slowdive - S/T
Chelsea Wolfe - Apokalypsis

And caved on getting Elder's new record Reflections of a Floating World (Clear w/ Green swirl, /500) online

 

You got a list of stuff you're getting rid of?

 

Off the top of my head I have some Nothing and SDF records I'm looking to move, but not sure what else

 

Anything else in the vain of Cold World and that whole sorta scene?

 

I'm probably getting rid of a Down to Nothing record and one of the Triple B AHC comps

 

What SDF records? (I 100% don't need to buy anything, but I'm curious)

 

oh man, Pinkerton's available as a swap in the VMP store. Do I swap Boxer for it?

 

The Wonder Years have a new EP up on merchnow (purple /2500) and cold cuts merch (splatter /1000). I love the splatter but can't really justify that shipping cost :/

 

Yea I just saw that on Coldcuts. $8 at a minimum for shipping is outrageous. I would expect MerchNOW to be a bit cheaper ($5). Really shakes down to whether the extra couple bucks for the splatter is worth it.

 

I got the splatter press. Ended coming out to 23 bucks. I'm fine with that.

Picked up the new pressing of The Dangerous Summer's "War Paint"

That coke bottle/pink splatter is gorgeous. But I can't help but wonder why the cover art is slightly different?

Especially with "The" being dropped from their band name..

 

I also got the splatter press. I don't think 23 is that bad.

 

Mine came out to $28 but I caved anyway.

I got the 130g A Black Mile to the Surface. Some of it doesn't sound too good. I should have preordered one of the 180g versions.

 

This is my life all the time haha.

It only lets me add 157 to my cart so if anyone is debating still, I'd hop on that.

 

I caved in for the splatter.

 

Like I couldn't not get it, its so damn pretty

 

That Mellon Collie box set is a thing of beauty, by far the best box set I own, the booklets that come with it are incredible. You should def try and snag one of them when you have the cash.

 

Glad I did. It just sold out.

 

I got the 180 and it sounds really good, one of my better sounding records but that may be because 80% of mine were stacked horizontally for a couple of months accidentally. :(

 

Yeah, it seems pretty reasonably priced for what it is when I see it around. Does it have the CD tracklist though?
