Heads up @Craig Manning, think I recall you mentioning this as an album you'd like to have on vinyl.

 

Just saw this at lunch! I'm excited. Definitely one I've wanted to have for a long time.

Also, I don't feel bad for the people trying to unload this for ridiculous prices, haha

 

Hah, yeah me neither. I'm still amused by the people trying to unload their copies of Hopes and Fears for $200+ even though the repress is coming in a couple of weeks.

I just finished telling my wife I wouldn't be spending any more money on vinyl for a while...whoops.

I don't know how anyone would even justify spending that much on any record. Pretty much all the big rarities from the late 90s/early 2000s have been repressed in the past few years. I feel like if something hasn't gotten a repress yet, it probably will soon. For instance, I'm very glad I never pulled the trigger and spent a few hundred bucks on Hot Fuss.

 

Yourself Or Someone Like You is one of the best debuts of the 90's, possibly ever. I'll need to get that one.

 

Yeah, those are crazy prices. I've spent $50+ on a few OOP records that seem unlikely to be repressed, but it's hard for me to justify going over the century mark.

 

I don't think I've spent $40 on any record, ever. Haha

 

Picked up the gold Louder now, also picked up while i was at it the All time low so wrong its right vinyl

The most I ever spent on a record for myself was $125 but that was for the live Converge box set

The most I ever spent was like $150ish for a sealed copy of love is hell on 2x10 for my wife

These days I only spend a lot of money if it's on like a box set or deluxe set that'll never be repressed (such as the Trouble Will Find Me set)

I almost pulled the trigger on a first press of Circa Survive's Blue Sky Noise for $130 but I think that'll be repressed soon

 

Last year I sold my copy of Bowie's Blackstar on clear for $400

 

Got a 1st press of All We Love We Leave Behind in the mail today from someone on reddit for only $20 shipped. Also got a shipping confirmation for my DAMN. record. ALSO was charged for TUI's new record by Bullmoose, so that should ship soon.

 

I'd pay more for a box set, but the only one I have is the Springsteen live set and I somehow managed to find that for like $25 this last Record Store Day.

Would like for have a copy of Love is Hell. Hopefully that gets repressed someday.

 

Umm... I definitely would never spend money on any U2 record hahaha. It's Converge's last album they put out!
