That's Rise Records not EVR. But maybe they'll get their hands on it.

 

Yeah it's always been Rise, not sure how that relationship worked out. I think Rise put it out in 2003 before they were even really a label and then EV kind of took over from there... and then Rise got huge... so now it's probably a pissing match album between the 2 of them. But to only have 500 copies of it out there is insane.

 

Preordered the new Hot Mulligan from Rough Trade and somehow got free shipping. A likely mistake I hope they miss...

Looks like Rise licensed it to EV in 2004. (Before the success of DGD saved Rise) The only vinyl version came out in 2013 as a 10 year anniversary /500. Had a EV logo on it but not the EV catalog number. So assuming, that yes, it's a pissing match album now. Especially since no 15/20 year anniversary releases followed. Still hope for 25 year in 2028!

I was being good last time but those new variants look amazing. Plus I only have 2 pre-orders now (2 in the post)… I’ve persuaded myself. Hopefully I’ll be able to grab one.

 

Just a heads up that happened to me once and they just never shipped the record haha.

 

Some of the last pressings sat for a while. I kept holding off but keeping tabs. Should be okay with these new variants.

The last batch lasted for 2 years before selling out when they announced their come back. So I would think they shouldn't have much competition but with them being back active you never know.

 

haha, yep. I just looked at this too. I bought the last one in late 2024 and they were released in late 2022.
