There was this one that I think was originally a gift with purchase set if you spent over a certain amount.

 

I listened to I Empire this morning. Packaging is beautiful and the album sounds great…..but who in the world Ok’d the addition of that live acoustic bonus track? The quality and Toms voice sounds awful, why add that?!

 

Stopped into Atlantic Sounds in Daytona for the first time in over a year. They had one copy left of Frank Turner’s RSD release so I picked that up as well as the 10th anniversary edition of Citizen’s Youth. Then I went into the back room to check out the used vinyl section because the owner told me they’ve been getting more “modern” stuff. Was going through it and found a copy of Matt Nathanson’s Last of the Great Pretenders for $50. (It last sold in the $100-150 range on Discogs and there’s currently one for sale for $400) And it turned out to be signed so that was cool.

 

Yeah I turned it off lol. My old iTunes purchased I-empire came with an acoustic version of The Gift. It wasn’t great either but miles better than this.

 

I told myself one day I'll get that 1975 RSD I missed out on... It only took two years.

I've also been diving into video game soundtracks now. Recently snagged the Hollow Knight Piano Renditions and this just came from Japan.

I’ve got a couple a day or two early.

It’s not a new album, so different scenario, but there’s an album from 2013 that got pressed to vinyl for the first time in 2023 that hasn’t even been announced yet that I got in Nov 23. I took photos to add it to Discogs back then and am waiting until I can finally add it to Discogs. I’m not sure why there has been such a delay. I’ve been told soon for awhile, so, I don’t know when it’ll actually happen.
