I love that NK record so much. Went really underappreciated around these parts

 

So earlier today I was adding my collection to Discogs by memory at work, and from only 38 records, the median value is $700... even the minimum value is just under $500. That's kinda crazy.

 

i mean, records go for 20 bucks generally at this point, 38x20 is 760, so...

 

I mean, I can do math... haha. But probably 1/4 of them were 7"s. I guess it adds up quicker than you'd think? Idk just kinda blows my mind that I've spent so much money over the past few years and that some of the records I own are worth double or triple what I paid for them.

 

Just got the newbury comics variant of Axe to Fall this morning. It was a great choice for independence day here in the states since I'm in MA for the holiday. Crazy how an album that good is only their 3rd or 4th best.

 

All the records I've ordered from being mind-numbingly bored at work today: new Turnover, new TUI, new Alex G, The Best of Nina Simone, and the O'Brother Little Elephant session because why the hell not

 

I'm in Colorado Springs today and the local record store here has so many rare things that would sell out immediately in San Diego. Grabbed Blink-182's California Deluxe (even though I'm not really into it that much) for completion purposes and it was 20 bucks

I've really slowed down on buying vinyl the past year. Which is a good thing honestly. A couple years ago I spent soooooo much of my money. I'm a lot better at being smart with my vinyl purchases now.

 

I've basically listened to it all, just out of order. But "Brick" really sold me on it today.
