Visited Chicago for the weekend and made time to stop into Reckless Records. Picked up a few things, new and used.

I liked Reckless well enough when I was in Chicago last summer. I really enjoyed Shugah Records though. Nice hidden gem.

 

Shugah Records was my savior for RSD! They pulled through with Space Jam so now I'm dying to visit them in person.

 

I'll have to check that out next time I'm there. Also stopped into Dave's which had some good stuff as well.

 

Foo Fighters preorder is underwhelming but a $20 vinyl from them ain't too bad. Would have been cool if they did the double LP as a Concrete & Gold Color Scheme (One gold and the other gray)

 

Dusty Groove was also a good spot off the beaten path.

 

Considering selling my Basement - Songs About the Weather 7" for the right price...

Waiting for an Amazon pre-order on that. Also waiting on DAMN. I wonder if they'll be shipped in waves. Seems like Kendrick has a lot of signing to do and it would make sense to break it up a little.

 

I actually traded my copy of DAMN. for a copy of Demon Days. I could care less about the signature. And although the red wax would have been sweet, I'll be more than happy with black.

Just got that deluxe turnover LP, almost was gonna do the /500 press but I'm not the biggest fan of the tricolor and the deluxe matches the artwork much better imo (also didn't order anything else with it because the shipping is bonkers)

 

I think Im gonna preorder the deluxe LP for Turnover as well.

DAMN shipped yesterday and Im fuckin hype.

 

I grabbed the tri-color and the half green/half pink turnover. Pretty stoked!

If I wasn't trying to buy an Xbox, I would've immediately pre-ordered the Turnover. Next paycheck hopefully?
