They should send you a prepaid shipping label/let you keep the wrong variant. That's on them.

 

Their email said "we have gone ahead and processed the correct variant to ship with return postage that is paid for by our company" but there was no label in the new package. I guess I'll just wait and see if they email be back? Haha I don't know.

 

Received Lupe Fiasco's The Cool in the mail today. So happy to own this on vinyl.

 

That's strange. I was going to pre-order the new variant for the IIOI/KOJI EP and it only came to about $5 or so.

 

That's frustrating! I tried a couple other pre-orders and they both didn't offer medial mail shipping. I tried adding a non pre-order in too and it still was only offering priority. I might just shoot them an email and see if media mail is an option.

 

Picked up the repress of Panic!'s AFYKSO at Newbury comics recently. Actually sounds pretty decent, which is weird for a FBR album. Also pre-ordered the new Manchester Orchestra record, which I am beyond hyped for.

 

I made a thing last week. Turned out pretty well.

I didn't realize waterparks were so big. They put up their album on vinyl for pre-order /100 and it sold out in 20 minutes.

I took a chance and ordered from SRC for the first time. I couldn't pass up their flash sale. I got Jimmy Eat World - Futures, The Starting Line - Say It Like You Mean It, Saosin - S/T, and Silverchair - Neon Ballroom for only $50 shipped. Hopefully I don't regret it.

 

How long do records usually take from U.K. to California ?

 

It depends. I've ordered from banquet and got my order probably 3 weeks after. I am still waiting on another order from the vinyl store that shipped 5/1. They can get hung up in customs and take longer too, so it's hard to stay.

 

Stopped in my local record store for shits over the weekend and found a near mint /300 tour press of 8:18 by The Devil Wears Prada for $10 in their newly added used section. No way was I gonna pass up on that kind of deal. Checked discogs and it goes for around $30. Not too shabby.

 

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Should it be successful, I may become more open-minded to SRC.

 

Well I just got my shipping notification for all 4 items, so I'm hoping for the best haha.

Haha, I hope so, at least they'd know they've been shitty and should maybe work on that.

I follow a few people on instagram who basically swear by SRC which is so odd to me because basically everyone here and on VC hate them haha.

 

I've placed 20+ order with SRC over the years and have yet to have a single issue. Was always a little surprised to see the negative experiences that pop up in this thread.

Osker - Treatment 5; can't find pressing info online so no idea how many of them were pressed. Idle Will Kill is undoubtedly the better album but Treatment 5 is still really special for me. There are a few moments here and there on this album that hint at what was to come, and I still contend that Idle Will Kill is among the best pop-punk albums of all time. Underrated band.

 

Just moved to Dearborn MI and there's an amazing record store here :) picked up Foxing-Dealer today and a couple records for my girlfriend.
