Anyone ever order anything from Interpunk? Found a copy of Moving Mountains - Waves and I am VERY tempted.

 

Picked up the Raiders too. I can't wait!

 

Oh man, I didn't even know they still existed. I used to order stuff from them all the time 10-12 years ago.

 

I don't know how much confidence that inspired on my end...haha.

Blink had an exclusive with them for Neighborhoods. They seem to get all the Epitaph stuff too. The worst they can do is cancel if they don't have it in stock.

 

Haven't ordered from them, but that is a fantastic album.

 

That's why I needs it on the vinyl to complete my MovMou collection. I constantly flip whether I like this or S/T more.

 

Both are so different, but amazing in their own ways. I consider S/T one of my favorite albums ever and I still don't have it on vinyl, so that's something I need to change soon.

 

Well this was upsetting. When I went to go check out it went from "In Stock" to "Available Soon". I've tried the secondary market but I haven't found once for less than $40 that isn't scratched or warped.

 

Checked on discogs real quick. This one ships from Germany but it doesn't look like the shipping cost from this seller is too much extra.

 

You could try to get one from the german label that put out the euro version. Record itself is only 10€, but you have to contact them to get a shipping quote. Shouldn't be more than 7€ max, so it would end up being about $20.

Just got on the MO hype train and preordered A Black Mile to the Surface

 

That gold LP package looks great.

 

I hate when they make a certain variant available only in a bundle.

 

I wanted the gold real badly but didn't wanna drop $80 just for that. I don't really care about the other stuff that comes with it. I just did the white/black marble one and its still pretty expensive at like $38 after shipping. Makes sense though since its 180g and a double LP. Its also a dumb but common trend, imo, for bands to do the rarest pressing only in the more expensive bundles.

 

Maybe my least favorite vinyl trend.

Edit: and also vague pressing numbers. I don't know why, but it's just nice to know ha.

 

Oh, man, /r/vinyldeals is going to be the death of me. Just got DCFC's Transatlanticism, Postal Service's Give Up, Coltrane's Lush Life, Madvillain, Sleater-Kinney's Dig Me Out, Funkadelic's Maggot Brain, Lana's Born To Die and Cloud Nothing's Attack On Memory for 101 dollars total.

 

I have to have so much restraint right now. New pre-orders are up for Vince Staples, Big Boi, and 2 Chainz. I need a second job for records alone.

 

Vinyl deals is going to make me go broke omg

 

I went on the vinyl deals reddit yesterday and literally had to stop looking cause I knew if I was on there long enough I would break and buy too much.

 

I've found that using the 5% back Prime Credit Card softens the blow a little bit because then at least I get a free record every month.

edit: and it also has a $70 sign up bonus I think? Which isn't bad for a card with no annual fee.

 

Merchnow' shipping has gotten ridiculous. I went to pre-order the gospel youth's new album and the cheapest option is priority mail at $15. There is no way in hell I am paying a dollar more than the record itself for shipping.

Also, they sent me the wrong variant a week ago for something I got and ended up quickly sending me the right variant. My question is though, how do I return the wrong variant without paying for shipping? Probably a dumb question, but I don't send things out often.


Edit: it looks like it's just pre-orders that don't offer anything but priority mail. I get that you wanna make sure the stuff gets there for release dates but I feel like they should at least still offer media mail shipping.
