Looks like it’s 2011 or 2017. The 11 is bad 17 is good. So if you’re off by a year, it could be a good one.

Honestly no idea, I’ve been holding on to it forever but it feels insane to sell a Transit record (good band) for the going rate lol.

I saw that on Facebook and I think it makes no sense. If any kids would be confused about vinyl, it would be today’s kids. I know it’s just some dumb joke, but I feel like it doesn’t even attempt to make any sense.

 

i got rid of my vinyl setup years ago during a very sad purge. i now have only a teac record / tape / cd / radio stack, so my albums get no playtime because the sound stinks. any suggestions for a decent budget setup to get started again?

 

Turntable Lab has some reasonably-priced bundles with tables and speakers

 

the value of the record has dipped a bit since the 2023 repress dropped. the repress has sold recently on ebay in the 60-80s range and it looks like there’s an OG pressing available on ebay for $100. I am sure if you made an ISO post on one of the facebook vinyl groups you could get a competitive price just to own a copy right now.

this one is hard to say specifically because of the alt cover. i’m sure the current listed rate on discogs is more than people would likely be willing to pay, but i would imagine it still retains a decent amount of value just due to the alt cover aspect.
