I didn’t realize Pioneer was up for grabs on 8123 the other day. Got Dyed + Covers + Beach Weather, guess I’ll stay patient on everything else.

I went to Something In the Way this weekend, and after some DMs with Counter Intuitive Records, they let me see their new store before it opened for a little appointment session. Jake from the label wanted to keep photos on the DL, but it’s a great space, and will be an awesome visit for folks in Boston when it opens up. Grabbed some records from there too, a nice find.

Between 8123, CiRecs, SITW merch, and the cost of getting up here lol, gonna need to let the wallet breathe a bit.

Not the greatest shot, but I recently tracked down (with my dad's help) an expert to repair these Acoustic Research AR-3a speakers that were my grandfather's. They've been an incredible upgrade. He fully restored them to "factory-level" and they absolutely sing. Best I've ever had. Beyond grateful to have this family heirloom. My grandfather passed before I was born, so it's kind of cool to think of him when I throw on a record or even watch tv now.
