last week I got Kilo Kish Reflections in Real Time and Maya Hawke Chaos Angel sort-of-blind buys from Urban Outfitters bargain bin during extra clearance sale so that's four for january. averaging one record a week was absolutely not the goal this year

(i have Maya's previous album on CD and was gonna see Maya live this year but iirc she canceled her tour bc she had a scheduling conflict with filming for something that came up she really wanted to do)

Speaking of Type O, Split Chain did a dope cover of “I Don’t Wanna Be Me” not too long ago. I appreciate all the love Type O is getting.

 

So glad I got to see Type O in 2000 when they were touring World Coming Down. Coal Chamber opened as well.

 

I literally ordered it 24 hours ago! Hahaha

 

So lucky. I never got to see them and the wild thing is that they played at a small bar / venue in my town during the mid-90’s. I saw so many good bands there but for some reason missed them.
