Release My Mind, My Garden Grows

For anyone interested who couldn't get it on RSD or tour, Balance & Composure have 100 copies of the Slow Heart EP up for sale on their merch store

I just ordered State Champs indie exclusive for their deluxe album and I am so stoked. I didn't think I would find it anywhere online but Bull Moose is the best.

And that's why you always leave a note.

    Vinyl Collective is dangerous.

    That is all.

Only place I was able to find Space Jam from unfortunately. The two other times I've ordered from them it was fine, but this time was a nightmare and I'm definitely done with that shit.

Only time I bought anything off SRC was a limited blue Enema of the State pressing and it showed up warped so I tried getting a refund or replacement and they wouldn't do anything for me so I never buy from them after that baloney

Does anyone have experience with 1-2-3-4 Go? I have heard nothing but good things about them, but I ordered two items from them and they only shipped one of them. They charged me for both though and I still haven't got an email back about it.

    Not necessarily Memorial Day, but:

    Amoeba - CLIPPERS for 10%
Deep Discount - TULIP for 15%
    Sound Stage Direct - LP20 for 20%

And insound has quite a few newly added titles at 50% off and you can use WELCOME10 for 10% off.

The Maine has Stay Up, Get Down in their shop for only $14.99. It's on eBay and Discogs for like $75 bucks.

    There's also a 15% code - 8123summer17

I have budgeted $400 to spend on a new setup (everything combined meaning turntable, speakers, preamp, etc). I was leaning towards the Audio Technica 120 with a pair of bookshelf speakers (looking at the $99 edifiers). I've seen enough people on here say the AT120 is overrated, and I would not have to research preamps.
Thoughts? Any help would be much appreciated!

Do you have any thrift store, yard sales or classified ads in your area?
You might be able to find a used amp/receiver (with phono input) and some speakers that would do the job on the cheap, which would allow you to spend the remainder of your budget on the turntable.

That way you could keep the turntable for years to come, and upgrade the other components one by one when you have the cash.

That option is most likely available, but simplifying the process has value to me too

ATLP120 seems like a great entry level player. There's also Uturn, which I would recommend you check out.

Would you recommend the uturn with or without the built in pre amp?

anyone have any recommendations of where to get cheap record mailers? trying to sell a bunch of records and since i haven't bought much lately i'm lacking mailers

I'm not too sure since I haven't owned a Uturn (or ATLP120), but from what I've read it's best to have a separate preamp. It evidently sounds better. I think of you are looking for something that isn't necessarily audiophile, but rather more convenient, then the built-in preamp seems to be the way to go.
