This is just such a great album to listen to at night.

Thanks! I was on the fence but when I saw your post about next month being the new Morby record I went ahead and signed up. Singing Saw was my second favorite album from last year.

 

Reissues of As Cities Burn and Box Car Racer were both delivered this week. So glad to own them both again.

 

I got my Boxcar Racer in the mail yesterday too and I was super stoked about it!

Busta Rhymes /300. This was one of the first hip hop albums I ever got as a kid from my older brother. Stoked on this.

 

So I learned about VM,P's swap feature (instead of the current record of the month, you can pick one from the archives) just in time and swapped out the upcoming Kevin Morby record for the Fugees' The Score. Was browsing the store later that night, saw it was out of stock, and I think I may have gotten the last one. Baller status.


Also, invested more into my system by grabbing a pair of Klipsch R-15s.

A woman I work with is retiring and moving to Florida and the other day she asks if I wanted any of her records before she leaves and told me I could have whatever I want at no cost. She was just trying to get rid of them.

So, she comes in today and I grab Pink Floyd - The Dark Side of the Moon; Aerosmith and The Doors self-titled and gave her the box of records back and she goes, 'OK, $5 a piece, that sound OK?' and I was like 'oh, sure' and gave her $15.

$5 doesn't sound bad for those records, but honestly they're in AWFUL shape and would have never taken them had I known she was going to ask for money.

 

i sold my ripped up copy of that pretty recently, haha
