The only test press I own is The Sidekicks - “So Long Soggy Dog” which is purely sentimental value for me since it’s their first official release.

If anyone happens to know where I can get a test for their Epitaph debut “Runners In The Nerved World”, lemme know!

 

I don’t think I have any interest in a test press of anything.

 

I technically have 2 tests, but 1 was sold as a special Fest variant.

I used to have one of Allister’s “Last Stop Suburbia” back when the 8 tests were the only existing vinyl copies of the album. I even had a one-off screen printed jacket made for it. But when the official pressing from Mutant League came out a couple years later, I sold it. Once in a while I check to see if it sold anywhere else since then but no luck.

 

They never pressed TMNT: Mutant Mayhem? Should probably get on that.

 

Fun pick ups today

 

I’ve got a test pressing of We’re All Better Than This by Joie de Vivre that the band gave me after I won a contest and the records they sent me got lost in the mail.

The others I have (Hot Mulligan/Everyone Leaves split and a Beach Slang EP) were what they were selling on tour because the actual records weren’t in yet. The HM one might actually be worth decent money at this point.

 

Don’t get the appeal of test presses but happy for those who’ve got them and enjoy them!

I do have a promo copy for Allister - You Can’t Do That on Vinyl. No idea where I got it haha.

 

I’ve got a test pressing of Petals for Armor signed by Hayley Williams and her grandpa but that’s it

It’s been quite the journey. It’s the only thing I collect merch-wise for blink but it definitely wasn’t cheap. I have all of the variants for all of their records which actually cost more in the long run total. I’ve actually been flirting with the idea of thinning it all out this year.
