So, is uDiscover legit? These deals are insane. Anyone order from them regularly? Like, the reviews are less than stellar and it sounds like they've pissed off a ton of people. lol. Maybe this is just issues with pre-ordering?

 

i’ve purchased from them a few times with no issues, but never more than a couple records at a time. i think it’s pretty legit personally.

i think TAITA was the first album i ever purchased on vinyl, it was at hot topic back in the day. that's neato that version has eclipse on it

Yeah I swear NINs site has had those listed for at least a good 7 years now. Since The Fragile repress/The Fragile Deviations dropped!

yeah they absolutely have lol Trent’s idea of “soon” has become an inside joke at this point. I caved and paid way too much for an OG press of Year Zero back in April.

 

I thought with teeth got re-pressed a few years ago? but I guess that ran out pretty quickly too haha

 

It did. It got the definitive edition treatment. I grabbed it off Amazon think it was in the fall of 2019. They probably didn't make a lot after cause of COVID and Adele.

 

so a few years ago in my hometown, i got to talking with someone who ran a local record store i frequented, and he told me a few months prior he actually ran into Trent at a bar during one of his days off for practicing for their Cold and Black and Infinite Tour. he asked about the rest of the definitive editions and Trent said they would see the light of day but that it all came down to money, arguing that it was clearly expensive to repress a ton at once - hence why there was the first batch with Broken, TDS, The Fragile, and Deviations 1 in 2016/2017 and With Teeth in 2019. combined with the fact that they were also repressing Hesitation Marks and trying to get a lot of their score work out the door and it seems the DEs took a bit of a backseat. but in one of those recent interviews with Trent & Atticus it seems as though they're working to ensure a lot of their Interscope work does get properly preserved and rereleased. so WT getting more copies might be a sign that Year Zero could be on the horizon (which i'd love since YZ, Ghosts, and The Slip are all i need left). and of course with a new album in the works, i'm sure that excitement could result in more represses.

 

Sister gave me a Barnes & Nobles gift card for books. Obviously I failed her. 25 cents baybee.

 

Picked up The Fragile for $19.49 thanks to that Sound of Vinyl sale.

 

Took advantage of the Udiscover sale to secure a copy black copy of SILYMI. This will likely be the copy I play the most.
