Joined Vinyl Me Please because I was on the wait list for Demon Days by Gorillaz. Anyone use it? If so, do you like it? Worth the money?

 

I almost joined also just for Demon Days, but didn't think it would br worth it just for that one album I want.

VMP is great! They put a lot of thought into their releases (at least the ones I have received). Packaged well and includes a nice little 12 x 12 print as well. Haven't done in awhile, but I have no bad things to say.

That's good to hear. I decided to try it out for 6 months. Did you ever use the swaps?

 

I sign up for the months when they have a record I want. Not bad price for the high quality presentation.

Threads is sold out already. That was fast, pretty bummed!

I just grabbed a first press of All Time Low - Put Up Or Shut Up on discogs for only 20 bucks, brand new and sealed. That makes me a little less bummed.

I would check vinyl collective as well. They have a lot of users who sell stuff there and you might be able to find one for a decent price.

 

So I thought the 10th Anniversary Edition of Everything In Transit was still readily available on vinyl, but I now see that it isn't. Damn, I thought they made a very large number of copies of the retail black.

 

Finally have my setup! Turntable came in the mail today. So happy.

I almost went with black, but decided to do something colorful. I love the green.

 

Green looks great. I have a white uturn myself.

 

I'm eagerly waiting for the hot topic colored variant of A Fever You Can't Sweat Out to be put up online. I don't even have a clue what it looks like, I just know I want it in my life.

 

idk if it's allowed but I don't think there is a forum to sell stuff on this site anymore, but I'm working on a project in china this summer so I'm trying to raise a little money to make that easier for myself so if anyone is interested check my VC post. Is signing up for Vinyl Me, Please worth it for Fiona Apple? Are those services maligned, are they tacky/low-quality releases? I don't really know. What I do know? I love Fiona Apple. So you can see how I'm a bit torn.
