I found a copy of Aqua online and copped it so I know how that goes.

I tried, but I don't think I'll ever listen to that third LP again. I sold mine and am sticking with the repress.

I haven't listened to it yet but I mainly bought it since it's the first time I've seen The Black Parade anywhere in stores

Did anyone order the $300 box set of Lemonade?

I really can't justify that amount for that haha, even if it would be cool to have.

Especially after I just ordered that $150 Radiohead box set.

No kidding. I haven't seen the Radiohead box set but something tells me the money feels more well spent with that one.

All of their box sets have been well worth it. This one is the most expensive box set they have released so far (by like $40) and I didn't hesitate for a second.

    That's an awesome boxset!

Did you ever see the box set for A Moon Shaped Pool? Well it appears to be that kind of box set plus an artbook + sketchbook - all housed inside another box. The presentation of the In Rainbows and AMSP are both fantastic. This will only be better I assume.

I didn't, I'm actually not real big into Radiohead. But that box set does sound awesome.

My local record store has Fastball performing next week. I almost want to go just to see some nostalgic The Way. I'm kind of mind blown they have a new album coming out.

    Keep on moving. Busy street.

So last week was my birthday and a group of friends gave me OK Computer on vinyl and a Crosley Cruiser II (my first and only record player). Of course, I am very grateful for this gift but I've heard all kinds of bad things about Crosleys, and I don't want to damage my record but I've also never had the chance to listen to an album on vinyl. What should I do? Are Crosleys that bad?

Yeah they are pretty bad. I wouldn't play an expensive record on it, that's for sure. Also, with the 20 Year Anniversary Edition of OK Computer coming out soon, I would suggest just going ahead and listening to it. Then, maybe go for the deluxe down the line (and a new record player when you can afford it). Just know that whatever you hear, will pale in comparison to a proper set-up + turntable.

What they said. Vinyl isn't a cheap hobby and you very much get what you pay for, so if you're going invest in it you may as well get something better. If you aren't going to heavily invest and want a cheaper table, i still would ditch Crosley and go with an audio technica or a pioneer which can be found for under $200.

Just ordered Dance Gavin Dance - Downtown Battle Mountain, City and Colour - Peaceful Road, and the Kids soundtrack from Bull Moose. Also pre-ordered Bob's Burgers. I was tempted to get the box set, but didn't pull the trigger.

Anyone know how their point system works?
