Lucky you. I've been doing the same. Apparently the site is currently undergoing maintenance.

Edit: also was there when it went live.

Totally agree. If you sell over half a million copies of a record, how about release more than a few thousand.

i just looked on viny collective and I think I'm some how the only person that managed to get through with this. Thank god I got a confirmation email from them otherwise I'd be nervous haha

Coheed store is still down/not working. What a joke.

The retail pressing should be out soon, I'm assuming?

They're doing 3 limited pressings for whatever reason, so worst case, you get the black later.

When I ordered this last week USPS ended up losing it or something because it never showed up. Amazon reimbursed me and I ordered it again. Two days later and I finally have a turntable

Just snagged Pvris, sadly missed the test press pre order though.

Also, does anyone have a u-turn orbit? I'm wanting a new set up when I move, and this is the one I'm looking at currently.

A coworker of mine recommended it and I've heard good things. Glad to know you love it! What's the rest of your set up, out of curiosity?

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

I'm ordering a U-turn here in the next week or so. I'm doing the custom one and it's about $400, but it looks really good and I've heard good things about them.

I have a Behringer Pre-amp, a Sony STRDH130 2 Channel Stereo Receiver, and 2 bookshelf Acoustic Research speakers. It's perfect for the smaller sized room I have.

I've had an Orbit for a couple years now and it's been great. Would recommend to anyone, in that price range especially.

i preordered Phoenix's new one just now.

  17. Recently pre ordered Perfume Genius, the Sufjan Stevens live 12" + the planned parenthood 7" boxset.

Also still been waiting around 3 weeks for my arca pre order (which is sorta normal for Australia but is still bumming me out). To add on top i ordered Orlando senteniel from emperor x's band camp and have received no notifications about it. Tried messaging the seller and haven't gotten any reply. Might have to open a PayPal dispute.

I ordered the signed Boxcar Racer pressing and today I ordered the new 'limited' 3xLP Metallica live record. Stoked on both. I actually really dig the new Metallica.

If anyone is ever willing to sell or happens to see Every Time I die vinyl for sale for a somewhat reasonable price...specifically Hot Damn!, Gutter Phenom, or the Big Dirty please let me know (any pressing of these). Been looking for those 3 for forever and they are at the top of my wantlist, but I refuse to pay 150 on ebay.

Have you tried discogs? They sometimes have a little more reasonable pricing than eBay. Or I'd check in the vinyl collective forum, just search the albums you're looking for and someone may have it up for sale.

I've only started collecting vinyl the last half year or so and am already up to 20+ albums. There's something special about having this giant piece of art that you can hold, view and enjoy. This is so addicting

Be warned, 20+ becomes 200+ very fast. haha.

It really is such a great hobby. For me, theres nothing like having a record where the art and the actual vinyl kind of match. That just makes me so happy

I totally agree with both of you. It's an expensive, but a very worthwhile hobby and investment. It's also fun when people come over, it's a conversation piece often when they see my collection and it's always fun to talk about.

Oh yeah, I love having people over, and I'm just like, pick one. It's always cool to see people comb through my collection and its interesting to see what they pick out
