Only thing that catches my eye is Olivia Rodrigo.

 

That Billie release is the kind of thing that just makes me ask the question “Who the hell needs this on vinyl?” I’m sure it’s something that’s cool to hear once if you’re a fan. Pressing 25,000 copies of it seems like a waste of resources to me. But then again, they press a lot of dumb shit for RSD.

Surprised they didn’t announce someone like Charli XCX as the ambassador. But maybe they’ll do that for next year.

 

It seems like it was a "we need a major artist pressing this year!" panic-type of release for RSD BF. Something to draw in the crowds to the stores, but holy shit, 25k copies is a big risk...

Also stunned it's an "RSD First" which implies there's gonna be a ton of them, this is just the first pressing. Kinda undermines Billie's whole "we're not going to do a ton of variants, that's bad" thing.

The real secret is all the local stores save their best used shit until RSD and at my store, the RSD titles are in a separate line

 

Revisiting The Higher this morning; I’d love someone out there to remaster “Histrionics” and press it to vinyl.

 

I'm going to be so mad if I don't get a copy of Baron Von Bullshit Rides Again because I'm out of the country this year. I was just thinking about how it was kind of surprising that it hadn't been pressed sometime in the last ten years or so.

I went to my Order Status page and the Cancel button made an email template for me. I asked for a refund due to more than a month without an update and said I'd be emailing once a day starting Friday if I didn't hear back. I got a reply within minutes granting my refund. Glad that's over.

Guess I'll be looking for TOP - Vessel and Turnstile - Time & Space elsewhere.

 

Got myself into a dumbass of a pickle. I ordered the Sufjan Christmas vinyl from Sentinel Vinyl
Last December. I didn’t check for all the negative reviews and warnings on Reddit. Anyway, they said it was backordered.

Waited almost a year. Emailed them today to cancel only to see they canceled it in September and never messaged me. The customer service rep sent me a gift card for double the price of my order. The catch: The site got into so much fraud that it changed its name and now everything they have is backordered. They might as well have given me a gift card to Hollywood Video.

I’m threatening a chargeback and to claim fraud through their vendor. Scummy as hell.

 

VMP sent another email out now blaming the US port strikes for their vinyl release delays. Clever.

 

lol I didn't heed warnings about them and had to cancel an order recently. took a minute but we got it back.
