Well it's the one Blood Recs was teasing yesterday. It wasn't liquid filled like I presumed but cool nonetheless. Not surprised it's already sold out. 5K is a little low after the whole Chappell Roan drop fiasco a few weeks back.

 

Super pumped for this Challengers soundtrack pressing. Its honestly my AOTY and Trent's best score since Social Network and better than anything NIN related since With Teeth. Still waiting for TMNT Mutant Mayhem pressing, but doesnt look like we will ever get that.

 

while i disagree re: the quality of their material since WT/TSN, i'm beyond pumped for this to get a vinyl release.

i know money is a factor in what does and doesn't get pressed, but i need them to reissue the few remaining definitive editions they haven't yet (and i'd give anything for that Dragon Tattoo boxset)

My vinyl spending is down significantly this year, but between Saosin, Say it Like You Mean It, and Chroma on the horizon, those of us that previously missed out are eating good at the moment.

I remember seeing numerous one star reviews on Target going on about when they put on their Swifty vinyl saying there's some man singing.

I was like wow if you're that basic maybe you shouldn't buy records. Close your Crosley suitcase and move on to a new hobby. Haha.

 

Now jensbooks247 knows Jeffy B isn't selling bad bootleg vinyl and there are "different settings" for records (which is hilarious to read). Ya learn some thing new every day.

I bought Cloud Nothing's "Final Summer" and had this happen to me. I had my player set to 33 ('cause nearly all my 12" 's are 33) and I put the record on and it sounded awesome! Really sludgy.
Then when I heard Dylan... it was not him.
Needless to say, the album plays at 45... The album is still very much awesome, but I kinda miss the slowed version, ha! I'm a dingus

 

When Metallica's Ride the Lightning was pressed at 45rpm some people played it at 33 and it sounds like an awesome doom version of the record. It doesn't fully work for every song (e.g. some parts of "Fade To Black" are just laugh-out-loud hilarious) but overall it's pretty awesome.

 

For anyone who snagged those $12 records from Sound of Vinyl last week, did anyone get shipping notifications yet?
