Anyone that knows me at all knows how excited I am to have this in my collection. Finally.

if i had a 1 dollar for every time some random person came up to me and said i looked like adam krier over the years, i would probably have at least 10 dollars now, also im surprised people know who they are outside of Illinois lolz

 

I think the reason a lot of bands opt for 12' EPs that could easily be on 10' is that a lot of places actually charge more for 10' pressings because theyre irregular, esp for smaller orders. thats why a lot of 10' are double because its like twice the order size which makes it cheaper. if that makes sense?

 

I ordered SILYMI last night but cancelled it tonight when I saw it was plain black; opted to splurge on a 2LP SRC pressing from back in the day.

 

Good call on the Target sales. Got the last Dua Lipa vinyl there. They had a ton of Timberlake and, weirdly, Boygenius. They also had Shania Twain and Shakira.

Also, I don’t know if it’s just our Target, but they constantly have AT&T reps there bothering customers to switch their provider. Like, my man, I am not here at 9:30 pm on a Saturday to change my carrier.

 

It’s always the same three guys and every week I tell them that I’m still with AT&T just like the last 9 times they asked me.

 

Vagrant records catching strays with the double 10” disc talk. And rightfully so.

 

Maybe if they press four more versions of Stay What You Are they’ll do one that’s 12” and not misspelled.

 

So jealous of the targets who still have boygenius

 

For these target clearances, are they lumped in with the rest of the records? In a different section?

 

mine put them on the bottom shelf of their record display, but i think others put them relatively near the media section

 

Ours is near the computer and accessories, away from the full-priced vinyl.

 

they used to put some records there. i'll take another look next time i'm there.

 

Speaking of 10”…I bought a grail yesterday! I was headed to Boston to see Something Corporate and stopped at Wanna Hear It records for the first time because they were having a 15-20% everything sale. Had to grab Glocca Morra despite the price

Those TSL live records are excellent. I have the Best Of set and need to find a copy of Direction eventually.

 

Listening to Direction now - this is a great alternative until they repress everything

can’t recommend that store enough, they had an overwhelming amount of shit I like and I can’t wait to go back

some Target clearance was on the vinyl display and some here at the accessories clearance last i checked, altho in one instance some vinyl were back at the board game section so idk ymmv. had much better luck with UO clearance personally

this Target had a bunch of JT, JLo, and i think Morgan Wallen whoever that is. there was a new Fletcher album for $8 but it was opened and the corner was creased bad. i remember seeing Fletcher's first album at another one but the discount there was like five bucks

 

My target clearance section is bad lol. Bunch of J Lo and Post Malone’s last album before he went country. Anything decent sells out immediately at my location

 

Ah thank you for this tip! I always just assumed the Target down the block didn’t do clearance vinyl. Went back today and checked the computer accessories section and boom there they were lol.

Picked up the new Kasey for $10.49 and the new Dua for $8. They also had the newest Nicki Minaj, Timberlake, Morgan Wallen, Kid Cudi, Shakira, J Lo, Conan Gray and Pearl Jam for about $10 each. It was pretty comical how many of those Timberlake albums were there
