hmm this may be the first time i've heard that Forrest from Hellogoodbye is who recorded those SA demos

 

would much rather have the was a real boy bonus tracks than these demos on vinyl fwiw, ill probably stick with the copy I have already

 

Google led me to this version of "Erase All Life" (that _might_ be the long lost Steve Evetts version) and the Reddit post says Forrest also recorded the For Sale EP that Doghouse put out.

How many times do you guys listen to a new vinyl before it hits the shelf and collects dust to eventually maybe get spun once or twice a year after? Like does a single $30 LP only get spun 5 times before shelved? I have a rule where I need to listen to an album atleast a dozen times before I can shelf it to justify the price. Am I just weird? I bought 4 records 2 weeks ago and those are all ive listened to and wont shelf them until Monday. Then I open 2 new records I bought.
