Yeah, I think so. When I go to the page it shows USD 200.

 

I best start working extra the next few weeks. Haha. This is when the hobby get exciting / gut wrenching.

 

All things considered, I think that price could've been much worse. Still probably can't swing that right now, but if they sell them individually I'll get You Come Before You. (already own The Opposite of December and Tear From the Red)

 

If anyone gets the ptw box set and doesn’t want versions/tropic rot I will be happy to purchase them from you.

 

Oh fuck stupid ol me, I also saw the $280 and thought usd and am now just realizing it's Canadian. $200 USD is better.....but damn. Boxsets have gotten expensive or I've been outta the loop ...last boxset I purchased was The Saddest Landscape and that came with 4 LPs for $50.

The PTW is so beautiful tho....from the variants to the black cover....

 

Anyone in the TX/OK region been to one of these? Trying to figure out if there's usually a decent selection of vendors and genres....not trying to go if it's like old old stuff like 40's 50's etc.

Oh for sure. I've been taking advantage of that for months now and got quite a few records on the cheap thanks to those rewards.

 

My American Hi-Fi shipped yesterday. According to UPS tracking it's on its way from Italy?

 

Rude Records is Italian, yeah. Weird that they didn't have a U.S. distro.

 

Went box. I only had 2 of them, and I like having the "collection" box for things. Rise Against and MxPx look cool on the shelves in their own little spot and I think they age really well. So, spent a tad more instead of just getting the other ones piecemeal.

 

The only time they don't age quite as well, imo, is when the band keeps releasing more records. For instance, Anberlin, releasing a record after the boxset, which was supposed to be a career spanning thing, and now there's an extra album. I appreciated that the Five Iron box set included extra space so more records could go in there eventually.

 

the only other time i've seen a boxset retroactively change is when ABBA released their most recent album, and then decided to expand the box and throw it in as well

 

I like my Bad Religion box set because it's oversize enough you can keep adding records into it!

 

I’m reminded of the Simpsons DVD sets where they switched boxes and S6 was only available in the giant plastic Homer head.
