Stoop cat's afraid to leave his stoop.

I feel like anyone familiar with that show can not hear the word stoop without immediately thinking of that. Haha.

 

Grabbed the last 1975 and talking heads! Accidentally skipped over the David Byrne/Paramore and the guy behind me grabbed it. I told him it was all good

 

My kid has a baseball game this morning so hoping there are some scraps for me later at the record store.

 

Lot of stores only got like 1 or 2 of the Sabrina’s, Lily Allen, Jeff Buckley, and Chappell

 

Slept on the Paramore/Byrne single because the record folk said they ordered more than enough. Turned out they were thinking about the remix album. Bummer

 

Same.

 

Had mistakenly picked up a shift at work for today, not realizing what date it was. Ah well. Best of luck to everyone today! Hope you all get what you're looking for!

 

Line for Newbury is all the way down the street so I didn’t bother going there afterwards for scraps

Huge line outside my local shop this morning. Definitely the biggest RSD crowd I've seen. Some people camped out last night even though it was below freezing.

 

What’s the main attraction getting the big lines this year? I’m so out of touch. I was just after the two Hives albums. Haha.

 

Last time I waited in a line for anything was the Wii. Haha. Too old for that shit.

 

we walked away with Re: This Is Why and the David Byrne/Paramore 12 inch! there were 30 people in front of us and somehow only one copy out of 4 of the 12 inch was taken by the time we got there. this is the stores first ever RSD but the line is massive and wraps all the way around the surrounding buildings. needless to say, i'm sure it's gonna be even bigger next year/later this year during Black Friday.

several stacks of the Noah/Olivia 7 inch, i think they had 1 or 2 copies each of Sabrina, Chappell, etc.

 

Got everything on my list which was a first

forgot to ask about live death cab and Japanese house tho (I’m sure that was out tho)

 

Someone in front of me got the last Olivia/Kahan split. If anyone sees it, will pay extra for getting it.

Record Store Day haul, whoopsie, spent more money than I intended.

I love the look on my wife's face when I attempt to explain to her that $85.00 for The Hives' absolute worst album (Lex Hives) is a "good deal".

 

Picked up the Rocky Horror demos, Daft Punk, and the Frank Turner 7". Struck out on the Karou Inoue LP, but I'm probably not going to have a problem getting that online.

 

End up with both Noah releases and both Paramore releases. I really wanted the Flipturn release, but my store didn't get that one

 

Probably not gonna go for any RSD exclusives so no lining up for me but I'll be visiting a couple stores later today after going to see Spy x Family with some friends
