I saw Vince live at Coachella and he had a heavy set on Ramona Park and the one song that I liked before was free the homies but hearing it in a live experience and it made me fall in love and now I have that song on repeat.

Finally, acting Vince has been a long time coming

Although the White Men Can't Jump reboot starring Jack Harlow seems like something he would usually hate lol

 

I thought maybe Vince had a cameo in Adam Sandler's Hustle on Netflix but he isn't credited and when I re-watched that scene on a smaller screen I didn't think it was him anymore.

 

this has grown on me a lot. its fun for summer. still towards the bottom of his catalog for me but his catalog is nearly unbeatable so

 

I haven't returned to this in months. Not much interest either- pretty disappointing release by him for me.

 

It wasn't as immediate for me as S/T or FUN! so you may wanna give it another chance to grow on you.

Did anyone order RPBMH merch from the Vince webstore? They literally keep changing the ship date by 1-2 days. It now says Ships 7/4/22 - I also never received my S/T vinyl from them. I've been patient and don't want to cancel the vinyl order because I really love that album but I may have to cancel the RPBMH bundle if it doesn't ship soon.

 

I put it on when evaluating mid-year list contenders a couple weeks back and didn’t make it to the end

 

Still love this album. Love how understated it is. Tons of subtle hooks.

 

for me I still consider this a top three album but it isn’t in the same tier as the top 2 albums. They got way more plays.

Vince is hilarious but can also absolutely disarm you with how suddenly real and existential he gets, and if they nail that tone in a show it will be fantastic

 

ohhhh i'm so excited for this. i've loved him for years and this feels like a great fit for him so fingers crossed it's good.

 

I finally got the S/T vinyl a couple weeks ago - I think it sets the record for longest wait between pre-order for a record and when it actually shows up. I ordered it in July 2021 lol

 

Vince had a small part in the newest episode of Abbot Elementary and was pretty funny with the few lines he had

$40+ is too steep for me. But very fun shirt.
