I really love this record. One of my favorites of the year.

 

Man, I love Lil Fade

 

This is dope. Basically have this and Tyler on repeat last two weeks.

 

The only thing I would change about this is making Foushee's part on "Are You With That?" ride out for like, 15-20 more seconds. That's my favorite song of the year so far though, so it's a minor qualm.

 

This is already in my top 10 most listened to albums this year (per Apple Replay), fully love it

 

it’s pretty good. not hitting me as hard as any of his precious three or prima donna did on first few listens

 

I really hope this clicks for me sometime soon, as of right now I don't like it more than any of his other projects besides maybe Shyne Goldchain 1 or Winter in Prague

Yeah. Most hip hop artists will spare no chance to gouge the hell out of their vinyl prices and it’s kind of a bummer. $28 actually isn’t too bad though, if I hadn’t spent so much on vinyl recently I’d cop

 

Summertime ‘06 wasn’t even a bundle package. You had to buy the records separately and they were expensive as hell. Vince is definitely making a bunch of money off his merch.

 

Yeah. He did eventually do a bundle because it’s what I own, but it was not cheap and is probably still in the highest value tier of my collection

The most egregious example I can think of recently was The Alchemist slinging a four song EP for $100 lol. Just over 9 minutes of music. Happy for these guys getting paid and it’s hard to complain too much when I can hear the music through basically any streaming app. Plus buying vinyl is obviously a luxury. But it sometimes sucks to feel so discouraged to spend money on music I love. But again, $28 ain’t that bad. Hope pre-orders stay open for a while maybe I’ll reconsider

 

I was in a head shop the other day and they had a small record section and I noticed they only had disc two lmao I bought my copy at a festival he was playing so they obviously had both, it just never crossed my mind that someone might just buy one disc or the other

 

I want that special edition of Summertime 06 so bad. Love that limited edition artwork and the buttercream vinyl. But holy hell that goes for a ridiculous price on the secondary market.

A small venue, full band tour for this album would rule. First half of the show full album, second half the rest of the hits.
