Don't know how I made it til now without ever checking this out tbh

 

Yeah this is still so great. I'll never forget his performance at Eaux Claires last year. It started really awkward as the majority of people in attendance probably weren't huge hiphop fans. Nobody knew he was but by the end of the set he had everybody going wild.

 

i am so excited for the show next month
and the new album probably before then

 

Its a masterpiece

 

And yet I think we're only gonna see him get better

 

I'm already going to so many shows in March but I'm still really tempted to see him in DC

 

march is stupid packed
DC sold out

 

Yeah I think I have at least one show every week of March

And ah that settles that then

3/6: downtown boys
3/9: los campesinos/crying
3/10: mercury girls/heat (maybe)
3/11: from indian lakes opening set (if i can get in and i'm not at the big ten tournament)
3/12: deafheaven/this will destroy you
3/16: oathbreaker (though basketball will probably get in the way)
3/19: spirit of the beehive/romantic states/pinkwench
3/24: chris farren/adult mom (basketball dependent)
3/29: menzingers/jeff rosenstock/rozwell kid
3/31: vince

bunch of others are great shows but either in dc or on a basketball day so i'm almost def not going

 

This album is, to me, one of the best examples of a double album. I feel like every track is actually essential, and I just like how everything sounds super crisp and minimal in places
