Summertime 06 is a classic and probs the better introduction to vince. Big Fish Theory is truly incredible though.
LISTEN TO HIS ENTIRE DISCOGRAPHY(INCLUDING ALL MIXTAPES AND FEATURES) FRONT TO BACK WITH NO REST OR BREAKS IN BETWEEN
When I first listened to Summertime 06, I thought it was just ok. This and BFT are bloody great, though. Digging both. The EP with the James Blake tracks is really good too.
summertime might be his best work but BFT is more endlessly repayable imo. BFT would definitely be my vince deserted island album choice.
EP with James Blake tracks? As in more than one? I've only heard Timeless- where can I find the others? Also if we're talking every Vince release, definitely be sure to check the Stolen Youth tape with Mac Miller. That one seems to be all but forgotten.
He doesn't sing on it, but the Prima Donna EP has two tracks produced by him. EDIT: damn, beaten to it.
Oh damn. Thought it was a whole new EP I hadn't heard of. The songs on Prima Donna are great but the interludes kill the vibe for me.
I mean yeah all of his releases are good, though Summertime might be the “best” first one to listen to
