Some how missed this until today but this is fucking great. Etouffee is so so good.

 

10 years of summertime 06, has aged incredibly well. Think I like it more listening today than I did when it came out!

 

easily his best imo. that Jump off the Roof - Senorita - Summertime run is legendary

 

agreed.

 

phenomenal album, probably his best yeah. it's between that and big fish theory.

 

big fish theory is absolutely top tier for me but like summertime 06 is a tiny step behind it.

 

Big Fish Theory and his self titled are my favorite work of his

 

Fm! Still my favorite but have loved all his records.

 

I think self-titled is his best and it isn't particularly close

 

BFT for me and it felt like such a seminal work at that point in time, just hit everything I could have wanted from a rap album
But such a great and varied discography

Stolen Youth is so great and overlooked

 

bump Summertime 06 down to 4th and prima donna at the bottom and that would be mine

 

Big fish is in a league of its own to me. Maybe my favorite rap album of the century, honestly. Then probably fm, summertime, prima Donna, and the last three can go in any order. None of them do much for me

 

love that record, the album art is absolutely atrocious and a big turn off to me tho lol
