It's not a competition. If one thing to call something your preference but to put them against each before one is even released is weird

Definitely excited to hear this one. Didn't like Prima Donna much, but all the one-off collaborations he's been doing with electronic artists (Cashmere Cat, GTA, Gorillaz) have been perfect and added a ton to his shows.

 

I'm in the same boat, didn't like Prima Donna much.

 

I also was not big on Prima, but last LP rules and BagBak rules can't wait for more

 

i love prima. still go back to it. i dont think he's misstepped yet.

 

Prima Donna is great, but the interludes annoy me. I find they make the tracks drag and the tonal shift between them and the actual songs really chops up the flow. Summertime 06 is an all-time fav though so I have little doubts about this next one

 

I wouldn't call it a misstep by any means, it just didn't click with me. Maybe I'll revisit it.

 

Prima isn't quite as good as Summertime, but I still think it's great. I'd say it's on par with Hell Can Wait.
