I think the show I'm seeing tomorrow is his first since the album dropped. Very curious what he's going to play.
That was the best set I've seen all year. Incredible energy, incredible performance. An absolute blast. Here's the songs he played (not in order) Big Fish Love Can Be (with Kilo Kish) 745 Yeah Right Homage Party People (set opener) BagBak Smoke & Retribution Big Time Birds and Bees Norf Norf (closer) There was one other song I didn't recognize from any of his albums that seemed to feature prominent female vocals, maybe Kilo's.
Oh man that's sick, glad you had a blast. Stinks Rain Come Down wasn't in there but I see why from all y'all reactions haha
Listening to her album right now and it's totally not what I expected. Not sure what exactly I did expect, but I'm pretty into this. Super different and unique, crazy stuff
3 weeks to the day since release, listened to the whole thing most days since. What's everyone's LEAST fav song (not including track 6)? I honestly can't pick one.
Maybe SAMO... I think 745 drags a little bit when I'm not in the mood for it, but both still are great tracks.
"She getting naked undercover's for the fame She don't wanna be another what's-her-name Brown skin, blonde brain, Etta James Make it rain, in the club Don't you dream on how it feel to be in love? What, you drunk? You need a bus? Don't drown in the brown, just drown in the sound" That beat behind that verse blows my mind every time. It feels like the thesis of the album
