Didn’t watch the interview, but couldn’t get into the song they released. Had high hopes and didn’t even finish a full listen.

A lot to unpack here, won't do it all, and I only watched about 5-10 minutes before I went to the transcript. Who is Casey and why is she in this interview? I had to google to find out she's Mark's manager, maybe she manages "Me." now too, but its absolutely not acknowledged at all like the previous poster stated. I have no idea who this woman is, based on the contents of the interview, and I do not know why she is there at all?
Went to the transcript 5 mins in because this is Bryanstars levels of awkward. There's a reason media training exists, I guess?
She was important in getting the musicians together and the making of the album. You would be surprised how much goes on behind the scenes. The musicians have said it was her idea to do the casting call that got them the singer when they did not want one so the band would not exist without her. I know this from following along on their instagrams - mark and Eddie's - since they first got back together but I see how someone not following the story may be confused and there's a way the interviewer could have explained more.
