I started playing Lies of P last night. When it dropped, I remember playing the first area on Gamepass but wasn’t used to the controller and ended up not going back to it.

Made it past the Puppet Master after a few attempts. Parrying has never been my thing so I struggled a lil tbh. So far I’m really enjoying the setting and some of the sorry I’ve learned so far.

 

Now i'm not gonna tell yall how many tries and hours it took me to beat Commander Honglan in Wu Chang because you all will lose complete respect for me but...

felt like the tutorial about clashes before the boss was a big giveaway what they want you to do lol she even curses you out

 

dae hate the weird demon doors in Wuchang that transport you somewhere in the middle of the level or is it just me?

 

I just beat the fallen archbishop and wtf is this monster

this game got me HOOKED THO the weapon combos are too fun

 

I beat her when the healing animation still sucked. Get on my level.

I’m having more trouble with the next crop of bosses tbh

 

this isnt the best tip but don’t forget your legion arm in boss battles lmao I keep forgetting I have one until after I win

I also prefer dodging into attacks over straight up parry they just work better

 

OG Resident Evil 3 has one of the most lopsided easy modes in gaming, you can be as lazy as you want and the game won’t punish you.

 

Started Gears MP tonight and played a few matches. It’s so clunky in the best way possible.

Longsword with Sword Counter equipped. Level Infinity man, I scoured the map.

 

Level infinity tf does that mean!?

Yeah obvi the sword counter is great for the first phase but second phase is not great for most of her moves

 

haha I just meant I had already done most of it not all of the side content available at the time, so by the time I got to her I was pretty juiced up. If I had to put a number on it, I must've been around Level 24.

if you stay a specific distance from her, 80% of her moveset will still be parriable, the rest you'll just have to dodge. I saw some people online just collect feathers by dodging and then doing a spell but I found that an insufferable way to play with very low margin for error.

Can't wait to see sales numbers, I know PS players have been waiting forever for this. Hopefully it does well enough to get them to port the rest of the series over.

Don't know how many times we have to have the conversation about reading the room. Multiple people have discussed how uncomfortable it's made them bringing some of these games up due to Microsoft being awful lately. I don't know why it's so hard to just try and move that discussion to a different place or even in DMs if you're that desperate to talk about a remastered game, which is truly hilarious considering how much shit you've given remasters from Sony before, but when Microsoft does it, we celebrate it and talk nonstop about it?
