Microsoft rufuses to take my money. I couldn't renew my xbox live account for months becuase it kept saying "Check if card info is correct or try another card" over and over again, had to go out and buy a gift card finally just to get that working again. Now I'm trying to buy Gears Reloaded and still won't accept my payment info. Tried 3 different cards and venmo, nothing works. I don't fucking get it.

 

Gears Reloaded in 4k looks *beautiful*. Smooth as hell too.

If I were mega rich I’d personally fund a Gears miniseries to match the game scene for scene. I’ve wanted nothing more than an on screen adaptation for forever but am also convinced it’s going to get fucked up when it finally happens

 

Has Michael Bay written all over it.

 

I’ve played Gears one so many times and it never gets old. Will definitely pick it up on PS5 as well. Glad so many people get to experience it who never did.

Netflix is developing a live action adaptation......I'm cautiously cautious haha. I think they'll put money behind it and sure, it'll look nice, but I'm hoping it manages to adapt the grittiness that the series is known for.

 

I got the last copy at my local Best Buy. It’s on sale currently for 39.99. And I had a $10 Best Buy certificate that was expiring on September 1 so I thought why not. Not bad for a brand new game, plus I wanted a physical copy

 

It erased all my progress in skate early access and it’s making me do all the tutorials over again and yeah I’ll just wait until September 16th lmao

I don’t wanna keep doing the tutorials I’ve done them 4 times already

 

I just skipped the tutorials entirely and went to career mode. Already beat all of the foundry and Canada (mostly) Those pesky skaters are to impress haha

Beat the first act in Gears. Did it coop with a buddy on Insane. Have roughly 1/6 of the achievements. Really shouldn’t be a tough completion, just grinding out Seriously…

Love that they kept the clunkiness of the original version.

 

Is it as glitchy as the first game was or just the slow clunky movement?

 

If you are playing coop in the campaign it glitches every now and then but nothing game breaking. But yes, the slow and clunkiness is still there. Not as fluid and and fast as the more recent games. Honestly, this is the only one that was ever like this. They drastically changed the movement in 2.

 

red dead redemption costing more on the ps store even when on discount than the second one is still so funny to me

 

I like that you can buy the plates if just want those. Making them removable was one of the best decisions Sony has made.
