guess i should try the shinobi demo. i downloaded it but never started it.

 

I was waiting for a deal and gonna treat myself to it.

 

I don’t know why anyone would that before silksong. Especially if they’re planning to play silksong on launch. Do you guys not get burnt out?

I feel the same way about people who replayed botw in anticipation of Totk

 

I’m going to try and roll credits on HK before silksong but I have been through it five (?) times lol so I may be in the un-burnoutable minority for this game

 

might be a skill issue. i can't imagine trying to beat HK again in the time between now and Silksong's release. my frustration at fighting most of the bosses at least a dozen times each would kill all the hype

 

Also I love how many people are giving it a shot for the first time! Be sure to find the banking lady so you can save your money

 

hollow knight doesn’t take all that long if you go for the regular ending. but not going for the radiance ending is really only playing half the game

Yeah Hollow Knight isn't too long and the answer is a resounding no, I do not get burnt out on HK lol, I've been starving for more of it hence me crying for Silksong to release daily for the past 7 years.

 

Haha fair enough. I won’t even play *similar* games. I wanna go in starving.

 

Haha interesting yeah I wanted my skills sharp for SS so i've been going in on HK and it's been a breeze, I still got it

 

I'll also be playing Shinobi at midnight

For my second playthrough of HK, I played way more aggressively and I had a way easier time. Souls were for spells first, healing second. I also went for the Radiance ending for the first time and really struggled until I bit the bullet and got the final nail upgrade. Beat her first try after that.

 

My kid did HK 112%

I still haven't, but yeah it's one of those games I do NOT get tired of or feel like I'm ready for to end

But also I get you for sure @Lori there are so many games where I play it and then there's things I didn't do that I should visit and I'm SO burnt out by the end due to that game or games I played before that I just don't want to

 

I started the prince of Persia MV like two nights before the announcement lmao. Gonna have to wait now

 

Yeah like playing BOTW again before TOTK would be an insane thing to do

 

I just played the Shinobi demo. It wasn't on my anticipated list, but now I'm considering buying the early access. Damn that was good.

 

Yeah I just did the same thing, I reallllly am happy the combos are based on not being hit, I assumed at first it would be based on timing and it would end if you took too long between enemies.

Demo was outstanding.

 

Anyone played Roadwarden before?

 

Yeah I played Roadwarden day 1, spent a LOT of time on it
